[CT Birds] Very early Snow Bunting

Just playing Devil's Advocate, are we all sure that leucism has been ruled
out in the identification?

Wow! The earliest CT arrival in Zeranski and Baptist is October 11th (in
1986) for Snow Buntings.
Is this (almost 3 weeks earlier arrival) telling us something about this
coming winter??

Shari and Val Guarino
9/21 Southington  9 AM  Adult male snow bunting. Seen on the baseball field,
Memorial Park, Woodruff Street, just opposite Hazlewood Drive.  Bird was
almost 100% breeding plumage. Could not relocate when we returned with
camera.
