9/23 Farmington, Farmington Meadows - BROWN THRASHER, flock of 14 BOBOLINKS feeding in one of the fields; the place was loaded with birds, mostly Savannah, Song and Chipping Sparrows. Other things noted were a few widely scattered warblers (which has been typical in this weather) - Magnolia Warbler, Black-throated Blue Warbler, Blackpoll Warbler and Palm Warbler - 3 or 4 Indigo Buntings, one Rose-breasted Grosbeak. It's definitely worth a visit with high potential for something good. It's a very large chunk of mixed habitat. I was there just before the heavy rain, and mosquitoes were hungry.
