A flock of Red Knots is still hanging around Milford Point. There were at least 17, and there could have been as many as 26. They flew off to the outer bar into the heat haze. Also 2 American Oystercatchers, 230 Sanderling, 4 Dunlin, 35 Black-bellied Plovers, 1 Semipalmated Sandpiper, I American Pipit; in the clearing 1-2 Yellow-bellied Sapsuckers, lots of Yellow-rumped Warblers, 2+ E. Phoebes.. Savannah Sparrows (edge of dunes) etc.
