Subject: [CT Birds] White-tailed tropicbird, Irene survivor in Colbrook,
Litchfield County Times

Great article in the weekly newspaper "The Litchfield County Times" about a
white-tailed tropicbird that was found in distress after Irene by a
reservoir in Colbrook. The bird was rescued, finally identified as a
white-tailed tropicbird, and flown to Florida for rehabilitation, and was
hopefully released today (Friday, 7 Oct) in Florida. Is there a white-tailed
tropicbird on the state list? To bad a birder didn't see it before it was
rescued.
