Trans-Pacific Migrations: with Peter Pyle

Peter Pyle, from the Institute for Bird Populations (IBP), will present his research on Transpacific Migration. Learn how Black-footed Albatross travel 4000 miles to feed their chicks; turtles, tuna, and Great Whites fast; and more about the many surprising journeys made by birds, insects, and bats. Mr. Pyle has published & co-authored 120+ scientific papers including "Identification Guide to North American Birds, Parts I & 2" and is an expert bird molt expert. He currently researches changes in the abundance, distribution, and ecology of North and Latin American bird populations.  Suggested donation for adults is $10/adult.   Youth & students free.
