11/9 Milford, Connecticut Audubon Coastal Center
9:30AM-1Pm foggy, partially clearing, 55-58, high tide receding.
Driving into the Coastal Center, there was a Brown thrasher in the cedars
flitting around. In the parking lot was 1 Hermit Thrush near the brush
pile at corner of lot, swamp sparrows, white throated sparrows, song
sparrows, house sparrows, blue jays, mourning doves, yellow rumped warblers
everywhere, 200+ starlings flying around , 2 Cardinals, house finches.
On the marsh were 12 Black ducks, First pair (m&f) of BUFFLEHEADS of
season, 1 pair of mallards, 2 D.C. Cormorants, 1 Northern harrier soaring
over marsh and 3 Canada geese fly-over.
