Folsom-O'Keefe, Corrie cfolsom-okeefe at audubon.org
Sat Nov 19 12:36:58 EST 2011

11/19/11 Light House Point - a very slow morning for hawks, just 2 northern harriers (also saw one at Meriden Airport on my way home), but 28 SNOW GEESE flew over at about 8:30am. 27 were the white morph, 1 blue morph. Seen by Corrie Folsom-O'Keefe and Jeff from Hamden. Thank you also to Marty Moore and Paul Desjardins for coming down a little later.

11/19 Watertown, Lake Winnemaug - imm. GREAT CORMORANT, very white-bellied bird and always nice find inland; it's actually been there about a week but I don't think I posted it before; perches on barely exposed stump in middle of lake; can't figure out where it goes when it's not there; have yet to see it swimming in the lake
