Yesterday evening I was driving with my youngest daughter through Norwich. We were passing St. Patrick's Cathedral. There is a large vulture roost near there. As we drove by, a kettle of approximately 100 vultures (equally mixed between Turkey and Black) were circling the cathedral's "Gothic" spire. The darkening sky and the swirling birds above the cathedral's spire combined to make an excellent Halloween scene. Just the wrong season!
