Hi All,

Well the mammals are much more exciting to report than the birds in Greenwich at the moment as there were at least two reports of Bobcats on the Audubon Greenwich property this week. On the birds front a Fox Sparrow lingers at the feeders here and yesterday some late raptor movement saw two adult Bald Eagles fly over the hawkwatch.

Down at Greenwich Point today the previously reported Blue-grey Gnatcatcher continues to catch gnats in the Holly Grove - I did give it a decent grilling with Sara Zagorski just in case it turned out to be something more exotic - though unlikely you never know at this time of year - especially this year?

Pictures of the Bobcat can be seen on the blog at http://underclearskies.wordpress.com/2011/12/09/quaker-ridge-bobcat/
