Madison - Fox Chase Lane - 7:30am - YELLOW-THROATED WARBLER
Madison - Hammonassett State Park - 9:30 - 10:30 - PURPLE SANDPIPER, DUNLIN, RUDDY TURNSTONE, SANDERLING - good numbers on jetty (as well as along water at the Pebble Beach).
RAZORBILL - 1 straight out from tip of jetty.
Westbrook - High tide - no gulls at all, let alone the ICELAND.
Westport - Mill Pond - EURASION WIGEON - Could not see from Mill Pond parking area - had to walk up to Old Mill Road, then out small public access trail (cross boardwalk/bridge) - Look across pond toward I-95 - Eurasion was with a pair of American Wigeon.
Westport - Burying Hill Beach - LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULL
Stratford - Frash Pond - CANVASBACK
Stratford - Long Beach Boulevard - "Railroad Trail" - 3:00 - 4:00pm approx. - with Neil and Renee -
(2) ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLER - When walking out trail, as the marsh appears on left - the birds were seen on both sides of trail from there to about halfway to first viewing deck. For a rather dull warbler - They seemed very bright when in sunlight
