[CT Birds] Mute swans at Bass Pond in Berlin

Thanks for the report Bob. I am glad the swans kept going for it after 2006!! I temporarily live along Spring Lake in Wallingford and seeing the swans out in the ice the last few days on the way to my car is a funny start to the day.

Spotted a pair of mute swans at Bass Pond in Berlin/Kensington, just before exit 23 on Rte. 9 S.  There has been a nesting pair every summer at this location since at least 2004 and each year they have successfully raised at least two from their clutch except for 2006 when their nests were repeatedly rained out.
