Several observers there from before 10:45 - rather quiet except for the entrance area - where seed has been placed in the thickets to the left of the entrance (looking from the field toward the road). Bird was somewhat skittish. This bird was finally seen about 12:30 pm.
The addition of seed is attracting new species - observed were white-throats, song sparrow, tree sparrow, snowbird, cardinals, titmice, female red-winged blackbird.
In flight several flocks of mallards, red-tailed hawk and a possible goshawk (went behind tree line before confirmation - goshawk was the impression).
Also enlightened a state trooper about rare sparrow and bird calls emanating from my iPad.
