This morning from the Newberry Road section 5 species of ducks including 4 American Wigeon, 7 Green Winged Teals and 1 Hooded Merganser. Also 1 American Coot. Not sure if these would be considered early migrants as i never have seen them at this spot so early. But as the water is ice free they are taking advantage of it weather as migrants or just dispersal. Along Newberry Road section perhaps 10 or more Rusty Blackbirds as well as an adult White Crowned Sparrow. Thank you Charlie Bernard for first finding the sparrow.
