[CT Birds] CT GBBC update, day 1 and Thayer's Gull yes

We're off to a great start and stand at 105 species after day 1.  Highlights:
Eurasian Wigeon, Stratford
Redhead, reported Fairfield, details requested.
5 Northern Gannets, Norwalk and Stratford
2 Black Vultures, Chester and Southington
Merlin, Hartford, details requested
3 Black-bellied Plover, Madison
6 Ruddy Turnstone, Groton
6 Purple Sandpipers, Norwalk
4 Bonaparte's Gulls,  Norwalk, Stratford
Thayer's Gull, Windsor
Iceland Gull, Windsor.  Also 5 reported in Amston, details requested
6 Lesser Black-backed Gulls, Windsor
Glaucous Gull, Windsor
Eastern Screech-Owls are the only owl so far
No Red-headed Woodpecker submitted, although it was reported.
Northern Shrike, reported Tolland, details requested.
Red-breasted Nuthatch, 5 Brookfield
Hopefully the homeowner will report the Yellow-throated Warbler (Don't try to go get it!)
Fox Sparrow, 13 reported from Bethel, details requested, this would be a lot, but I recall having a big winter flock of them once in Manchester, so not out of the question.
No Harris' Sparrow reported yet.
White-crowned Sparrow, 5 reported, North Haven, details requested
6 Rusty Blackbirds, Salem
18 Purple Finches from various locations
9 Pine Siskins form various locations, details requested
5 Common Redpolls from Orange, details requested.
