The pond is open and full of CANADA GEESE, about 200 were there at 11:00 am
today this might be a good place to visit in the late afternoon to look
for rare geese as more fly in to roost. Also present were a pair of HOODED
MERGANSERS, the local pair of RED-SHOULDERED HAWKS were making their
presence known over the pond, and 3 COMMON RAVENS were weaving in and out of
the pines playing tag.
