When i arrived this afternoon i noted that all the scrub growth has been eliminated. It is now grassland habitat which of course is a good thing for the Grasshopper Sparrows that have been seen there. Hopefully Eastern Meadowlarks will now move in among others. I must admit though that i will miss the Brown Thrashers, Prairie Warblers and Indigo Buntings! As they say what is good for one group of birds is bad for another.
