03/07/12 - Woodbridge, Konold's Pond from Bradley Road (9:00 A.M.) -- 167 Ring-necked Ducks, tightly grouped, in the south end of Konold's Pond, south of the island (147 drakes, 20 hens). The Trumpeter Swan pair, exhibiting some courtship behavior, moved from the island to the extreme south end of the pond. One pair of Northern Pintails and an increasing number of Wood Ducks were present. A later count of ducks north of the island added 10 Ring-necked Duck hens.
