[CT Birds] Mockingbird

Is this thread about when do Mockingbirds start singing in the Spring?
I'm use to thinking that most of our Northern Mockingbird population is year-round. I see them all year near Multiflora rose shrubs in southern CT. At least I think I do.

I saw my first mockingbird in Woodbury on Jan. 25 and saw it there almost
every time I was in that area on Trolley Bed Road.
