At the Orange Town transfer station, the ospreys are back at the cell tower.
They were hovering/gliding around the cell tower.
1:05PM-1:55Pm Milford, Silver Sands Boardwalk.
Took a walk along the boardwalk-very windy, but beautifully clear.
5 Great Egrets, cardinals, American robins,a song sparrow &
A Cooper's hawk flew over.
At the small pond by marker .5
along boardwalk there were a
pair of American wigeons, a pair of Gadwalls, pair of mallards, about
7 American black ducks and a
Snipe flew in (possibly there are 2).
At the tombolo which was about 2/3 covered was a mixed flock of about 100
Herring & Ring billed gulls with 2 Greater black backed gulls. Some were
hunkered down with heads in feathers against the wind.
