03/30/12 - Woodbridge/Hamden, West Rock Ridge, ridge top -- Morning wave of a dozen or more Palm Warblers (first time seen this season) + several Pine Warblers, also 2 Hermit Thrushes.  Pine Warblers have been in Quinnipiac University's "Pine Grove" (Eastern White Pine plantation) since ca. March 22.  The West Rock Common Raven female was seen in the nest on Wednesday, March 28 warming at least 4 small and uneven-sized hatchlings.  Nest occupancy continues.
