4/4 Morris, Waterbury reservoirs (along c 2 mi. dirt road from Rt 109 to top of Pitch Res.) - 2 adult Double-crested Cormorants on reservoir; 6 YELLOW-BELLIED SAPSUCKERS very active, drumming and calling; 1 Common Raven; singing Ruby-crowned Kinglet; 3 Golden-crowned Kinglets, just call notes; 7 singing Pine Warblers, on territory throughout; 1 Yellow Palm Warbler, call notes; 1 singing male PURPLE FINCH. Good area for Louisiana Waterthrush but none heard this morning.
