All,

At East Rock today, I had a flycatcher with the following description:

Black bill with yellow mandibular base. A darkish (almost streaked) vest
on the breast. No noticeable eye-ring. No noticeable wing-bars. No
tail-pumping behavior. Call note sounded like a dryish "ta-weet."
Repeated over and over. Bird was next to a Phoebe, and it slightly
smaller.

Bird was next to the path by the river past the covered bridge.

Other notable birds: Common Raven (x2). Male and female Wood Duck.
 Numerous Osprey.
