We had some migrating birds heard and seen (NORTHERN PARULA, WARBLING
VIREO, BLACK-THROATED GREEN), but they avoided our nets. We banded 18 GRAY
CATBIRDS, 6 WHITE-THROATED SPARROWS and one NORTHERN WATERTHRUSH.
Intersting to have ahd the White-throats and Catbirds togther for so long
(three weeks now). I suspect the White-throat migration has been held up
by the same front that is holding up the other migrants too our south.
