For those seeking White-eyed Vireos, a reliable location is the Walden
Preserve in Salem, CT. This place is little reported, but has a wonderful
grasslands section where butterflies abound. WE Vireos can be found
bordering the parking lot or in the bushes and trees on the northern border
of the big open field off the lot. It is a beautiful place, and well worth
a visit. Do take precautions against ticks, though.
