CT birders,
  Sorry this report is a little late.  I visited Hammonasset Beach State Park on Memorial Day and had a Clapper Rail and at least two Saltmarsh Sparrows.  Both species were seen from the Willard Island overlook.  The clapper swam the channel, walked along the bank for a minute, then disappeared into the marsh.  The sparrows were quite active, flying around and lighting in the open.  No song though, unfortunately
