On a walk through some of the Lyme Land Conservation Trust properties (Mt.
Archer, Eno, Pickwick) this morning I found a drumming Yellow-bellied
Sapsucker. This is pretty far south in CT for a territorial Sapsucker. The
Sapsucker was along the red trail in Mt. Archer. A few other notables were a
Yellow-billed Cuckoo, six or seven Hooded Warblers, and an Acadian
Flycatcher which was on nearby private property.
