[CT Birds] Southern CT Yellow-bellied Sapsucker, Lyme

Dave,

It's quite a coincidence, but this morning I found a female or  
immature Yellow-bellied Sapsucker in the Beebe Preserve off Grassy  
Hill Road in Lyme. I heard several mew calls and eventually was able  
to see it at a distance through the trees, no red on the throat. This  
is also the first time I have seen one in southern CT this late in the  
spring.
