[CT Birds] Purple Martin Program at Audubon Sharon

Geoffrey Krukar, Avian Researcher with the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection’s (DEEP) Wildlife Division will be presenting, “Purple Martins in Connecticut” at the Sharon Audubon Center on Sunday, June 10th at 2:00pm. Come learn about the natural history of Purple Martins and what is being done to help conserve this species in Connecticut. Also discover ways that you can get involved.
A graduate of the University of Connecticut, Geoff has been employed by the CT DEEP Wildlife Division for nearly 13 years. In that time he has been responsible for designing research projects targeting a wide array of non-game species including birds and bats. His recent focus has been on declining avian species such as forest interior warblers and the purple martin. This is a free program.
