[CT Birds] While biking & back home

Although I don't really know how many were around in past years, Wood Thrush are in Matthies Park in Beacon Falls. I've seen one sitting on its nest as well.

Biking along the Farmington Canal path, around the Hamden/Cheshire border:  1 Wood Thrush and 2 Veery singing, plus a Pewee.  (Besides usual suspects.)

    (Are there fewer Wood Thrush around this year?  Near by here, there seems to be.)

At home, RWA land by North Lake, Flicker adult & fledge flying about.
