[CT Birds] East Hartford - Rentschler Field

Joe Valenti and I birded Rentschler field this morning from 6:30 to 10:00 in an effort to determine the type of species and number of birds in the area.  Following are the highlights while the complete list is further below.

7/14/12 East Hartford, Rentschler Field by Cabela's - 2 AMERICAN KESTREL - male and female, 1 PEREGRINE FALCON successfully hunting in the field, 1 UPLAND SANDPIPER, 1 BROWN THRASHER, 18 GRASSHOPPER SPARROWS, 5 BOBOLINKS and 9 EASTERN MEADOWLARKS.  Also noted were 29 Savannah Sparrows.
