from Glenn Williams:
8/19 - Groton, Bluff Point -- BLACKBURNIAN WARBLER, 3 CANADA WARBLERS, 2 RED-BREASTED NUTHATCHES  ~285 warblers of 8 species

- a decent morning flight today, complete list below.  As expected at this date, almost all of the warblers were American Redstarts.  Other notables were four Warbling Vireos, eight Eastern Kingbirds, and twelve Blue-gray Gnatcatchers.  Some of the waxwings hanging out in the wild cherries at the corner had the diet-related orange instead of yellow tipped tails.

The trails have been maintained and widened this summer, but unfortunately the productive leaf and brush dump area has been cleaned up and replaced with piles of pea stone.
