Please Join Us! The Northeast Waterfowl Festival, Dedicated to the promotion of conservation, wildlife and the outdoors, this festival is has many great events!
Hosted by Cabela's of East Hartford Ct. September 8&9 2012
This fun family event is free! Here is a list of some of the events you can expect to see;

Come see some of the worlds best carved decoys, bird carvings and wildlife art entered in the decoy show & carving competition.  Artist compete for cash and prizes. Watch the judging of the Big Sky Carvers Award, a $2,500.00 First place purchase award.
CWA Bob Harris Memorial $500.00 First place
Sugar Pine Awards and the Cabela's Peoples Choice Award and many more.

This year the festival also includes flat art and wildlife photography.

Come and enter the fish and waterfowl taxidermy competition for awards and prizes sponsored by Research Mannequins!

Jennifer Broom and friends  will be preforming and demonstrating champion training with dog and puppy shows all weekend on the pond!

Conte "Wow Express" traveling exhibit, Connecticut Waterfowl Association, Audubon Connecticut and their birds of prey, Beardsley Zoo with live animals, Livingston Ripley Waterfowl Conservancy and the live mascots.  Ducks Unlimited, Ruffed Grouse Association  and more.
