Just did my morning birding as the fog lifted this morning.
In New Hartford - Bakersville - it was not dead! Nothing
special cept a late Empidonax- Least?, but lots of birds in numbers. Catbird,
Waxwing, Yellowthroat and
Song, Chipping, Swamp Sparrows who were not here yesterday.
At Niles Rd, the same. Loads of Siskin, 60 plus? Junco, Yellow-r-Warbs and
2 Red-b-nuthatch, 4 Palm Warbs, and a surprise Hummer fly over. Looking
as it should this time of year - finally!
