[CT Birds] Westport;Pine Siskins

10/5/12  Sherwood Island State Park  1:30 - 4:30 pm.  Pine SIskins

     There was an abundance of Pine Siskins at Sherwood Island SP today.  They were feeding in the Birches from the wooden walking bridge eastward along the treeline behind the Nature Center all the way to Burying Hill  Beach.  Conservative count of 150 birds.   Also seen were 2 Merlin, and one Rusty Blackbird taking a bath with the American Robins.
