>From Steve Spector:
5 Oct 12, At Silver Sands SP this afternoon watched a Clapper Rail bathe, then preen. Included unusual (to me) behavior of standing almost on tip toes and stretching whole body, including outstretched legs and neck, while flapping wings vigorously. This went on for about 10 minutes; then the rail disappeared into the grass. Has anyone watched this behavior?
