Michelle Frankel, Ph.D. is Deputy Director of Development and Conservation Biologist with Audubon Connecticut. She is also leading the Bird Friendly Communities project team for the Atlantic Flyway. She will be speaking about National Audubon Society's new Strategic Plan - "A Roadmap for Hemispheric Conservation" - and how work in the Atlantic Flyway, and specifically in Connecticut, is helping to achieve hemispheric conservation goals. She will go into greater depth about one aspect of the strategic plan, Creating Bird-Friendly Communities, and provide specific examples of how chapters - including Menunkatuck - are already playing a leadership role in helping to implement this strategy.
