Did Bakersville and Niles rd New Hartford. Birded there but nothing special.
Niles had loads of White-t-Sparrows and junco.

Decided to go to Colebrook res. Got there at 8:45.

Just in on lower rd, had:

2-Palm warbs
and lots of -
and yellow-r-warbler

Just before the Mass line had:

several hundred Pine Siskin all around, in trees but
mostly feeding from the tall weeds. One tall leafless
bush had 35 Siskin in it, all preening in sun after bath. Went to car to get
camera -

and yes - when i focused on them, they all flew off except one!

This area is so chuck full of weeds and their seeds, it really is a
grocery store for seed eating birds!
others seen -
Lots of Junco
Lots of White-t-Sparrow
3 Lincoln's Sparrow
many Song and some Swamp Sparrow

Had one Peep on mud - think a Semi-Palmated - late?
2 Im DC Cormorant
3 Osprey
and bird of the day - a flyover Red-t-Loon heading south
