John Marshal and I ran into each other while following up on Greg's report yesterday from Crook H
Horn Road in Southbury. It was a new spot to both of us, but it looks very good.
From Roy Harvey and John Marshal:
10/06/12 - Southbury, Crook Horn Road -- The highlight was anywhere from 25 to 40 PINE SISKINS toward the far end of the loop trail. Purple Finch on the loop trail, and also in the area Greg described as the former manure piles. Many Yellow-rumped Warblers, a fair number of Palm Warblers. No shortage of Eastern Phoebes.
Beacon Falls, CT
