[CT Birds] McKinney Refuge, Salt Meadow Unit, 10/7

Hello, CT birders,
  I birded the Salt Meadow Unit of McKinney NWR from 7:44 until 10:00 this morning.  Very birdy; list is as follows:

-Great Blue Heron (1)
-Great Egret
-Snowy Egret
-Little Blue Heron (1 adult, 3-4 immatures)
-Mallard
-Osprey (1, flyover near parking lot)
-raptor sp.
-Greater Yellowlegs (3-4)
-Herring Gull (West Beach on walk back)
-Red-bellied Woodpecker (1 seen, many heard)
-Downy Woodpecker
-Northern Flicker (Yellow-shafted, 3-4)
-Eastern Phoebe
-Blue Jay
-American Crow
-Common Raven (2, flying over estuary)
-Black-capped Chickadee (X)
-Tufted Titmouse
-White-breasted Nuthatch (1)
-Red-breasted Nuthatch (several, heard only)
-Brown Creeper (1)
-Carolina Wren (1, heard only)

-Swainson's Thrush (1)

-American Robin (2, surprisingly low count)
