Hi All,

Spent the early morning at Allen's Meadows in Wilton with Joe Bear and Catherine Hamilton. Nothing outrageous but a nice mix of birds. Highlights: 1 Orange-crowned Warbler, 5 Lincoln's Sparrows, 5 White-crowned Sparrows, 1 Eastern Meadowlark, 30 American Pipits, 2 Swainson's Thrushes, 40 Purple Finches, 20 Pine Siskins.

This was all in amongst good numbers of common migrants (some getting latish): 100+ Savannah and Song Sparrows, 40+ Chippings, 3 lingering Rose-breasted Grosbeaks, 15+ Eastern Phoebes, B&W Warbler a couple of Indigo Buntings etc etc etc.

At the watch later in the day perhaps our last kettle of Broadies (7) and the aforementioned Golden Eagle as highlights on a nice day.
