Subject: [CT Birds] pine siskins, purple finches go AWOL

I was being eaten out of house and home with hoards of pine siskins and a small flock of purple finches, but today they're abruptly gone. Very bizarre. The only consolation for the quiet is the new melodious call of my FOY white-throated sparrow.

This is, of course, what I get for buying 140# of seed on Wednesday!
