If you have followed the news, you will know that the surge is forecast to exceed that of the hurricane of 1938 - and there will be four tidal events over the next 36 hours that will be extremely high. The mandatory evacuations could run as long as 36 hours. Winds will continue throughout this period - so this is a very dangerous storm to go chase birds on the coast!
