After Sandy and for the past week, there have been 29 American Wigeons on the Hemlock Reservoir in Easton. They can be seen as you drive from 136 to Center Road in Easton. Along with them there were about 20 Buffleheads and about 10 Ring necked Ducks. Also seen was a Pied billed Grebe (the same one I have been seeing for 3 weeks?) and a fishing Gt. Blue Heron.
Has anyone else had daily attacks by Sharpies and Coopers at their bird feeders? Mine is very active and yesterday a Fox Sparrow showed up for the first time, joining the Siskins, the occasional Purple Finch and zillion Juncos.
