[CT Birds] Rocky Neck Pipits

A 3 to 4 PM walk at Rocky Neck yielded the following highlights:

3 Am. Pipits just as you enter the park

Marsh area:  5 Greater Yellowlegs and 15 Hooded Mergansers

Very quiet in the campground

There were no more Great Egrets in the marsh.

I also checked out the stand of pines and spruces at the park entrance.  This stand of trees parallels Rt 156 and has been good for Crossbills before.  No luck however today.
