For those interested in an excellent beginner's book on owling and owl etiquette, look for a copy of Pat and Clay Sutton's book, "How to Spot an Owl".  It is probably out of print, and I think its rarity and excellent advice is reflected in the exorbitant prices on used book sites.  Fortunately, the CT iconn library search shows that it is available no fewer than 28 CT Town libraries.

The foreword by Peter Dunne - about a magical night in Cape May Meadows - is alone worth checking it out.
