I recently received a gift of _Birds of Prey in Connecticut_ by Gene
Billings, 1990, 361 pages. It has great information on owls and hawks. I
was fascinated by it, cover to cover. He was the co-author of _Finding
Birds in Connecticut_ with Dave Rosgen.

It is probably out of print, and I think its rarity and excellent advice is reflected in the exorbitant prices on used book sites. Fortunately, the CT iconn library search shows that it is available no fewer than 28 CT Town libraries.
