An immature Northern Goshawk flushed from bank of the barrier beach on the
marsh side and wound up perched in a small tree near the end of the parking
lot. Surprisingly, it allowed a close approach as it was perched. It seemed
unfazed while it was being dive-bombed by a Northern Harrier, which was
calling excitedly.

Also present on the barrier beach were a Merlin and an adult Peregrine
Falcon, as well as 2 "Ipswich" race Savannah Sparrows. The Ipswich
Savannahs were about 150 yards beyond the 2 cedars which grow out in the
middle of the barrier beach.
