[CT Birds] Eagles, Owls, and such

Have folks noticed a scarcity of raptors along the coast? I know in Long Island and NJ biologists are saying that rodents and small mammal populations along the coast took a huge hit from the flooding related to Sandy and that there are just no voles or small mammals for raptors to eat in coastal areas. This could be exacerbating what may be a wide phenomenon if Dave's observations are indicative. I wonder if that is also true for CT?
