Yesterday in the late afternoon during the Napatree CBC, Paul L'Etoile found an adult male SNOWY OWL on Napatree Point, Watch Hill, RI.  Shortly after, he watched it get chased by a Peregrine Falcon across Little Narragansett Bay to the Connecticut side of the bay and Pawcatuck River.  There was no viewing location in Connecticut to see the owl, but it was observable from the westernmost end of the Napatree Point parking lot and further down the point.

Today, the owl could have moved on, but could very likely be back at Napatree Point or on Sandy Point.  This island is partly in CT and partly in RI and is best observable from Stonington Point.  It can also be seen from the Barn Island boat launch and vicinity.
