I spent several hours scouring the park for either Redpolls or Crossbills but
to no avail. Highlights included approximately 10 - 12 Snow Buntings in flight
(from the Willard Island viewing platform) heading northward across the river
and a single Lark Sparrow feeding in the designated handicap accessible parking
area / beach pavilion located immediately to the right and past the traffic
circle as one is proceeding towards Meigs Point.

Species list: Canada Goose, American Black Duck, Mallard, Red-breasted
Merganser, Common Loon, Great Blue Heron, Northern Harrier, Coopers Hawk,
Black-bellied Plover, Ruddy Turnstone, Sanderling, Dunlin, Ring-billed Gull,
